An ‘The Power of Landscape’ conference is aimed at stimulating fresh thinking in dealing with contentious landscape issues – the inherent tension between the extraordinary power which landscape exerts on us and our increasing ability to change and to reshape it at every scale. Of interest to planning and design professionals, resource and environmental policy and decision makers, community interests and the private sector, including: those with economic interests in landscape such as tourism, film-making, energy generation, farming, forestry and property; communities and groups affected by and perhaps wanting more influence on landscape change; and those who seek to guide landscape change through planning, design and consultation tools.
